Spa Hotels in Kapama Private Game Reserve

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! food was great, drinks were included and we could not have asked for a more beautiful experience. the amenities (pool and spa) were stunning! Bedrooms were gorgeous with giraffes frequently walking in the background. the rooms were cleaned 2x/day and the staff were so friendly. definitely worth every penny.

Jeffrey, our guide, was amazing! He made the safari experience such an unforgettable memory. Him and Brighton were wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable. We have been able to see all the Big 5. The staff was nice, the room perfectly clean, food was good and you get fed a lot.

Spent part of our honeymoon here and it was heaven on earth. The prices are high, but worth it. We hope to return one day to this paradise.

The property was modern, welcoming and beautiful. We loved spending time in the pool. And the hang out spots (bar, restaurant, Boma) were all beautiful.

The stay overall was spectacular. The room cleanliness was fabulous — every time we returned from the game drive, the room was tidy and clean. Very comfortable and quiet; the bed and the shower made the stay even more pleasant. The food and the service were excellent, and we were lucky to participate in and experience a braai dinner. The highlight of the stay was the game drives, with a very attentive and dedicated guide — it was the best experience.

From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a special place. Last year we also stayed in a game reserve very close to Ukanyi and thought this would take some beating but Ukanyi certainly did. The Villa was sensational and words or photos can never show you what it’s really like. From the pick up at the airport to the short drive to the game reserve we knew then we were in for a spectacular treat. On arrival to the Villa we was greeted by the manager Junce who introduced us the our chef Riaan, our waiter Jim and our housekeeper whose name escapes me and proceeded to show us around this spectacular Villa. All I say is this place is an incredible experience and one we will never forget. The food prepared by our chef Riaan was sensational and he described every dish that he cooked like he was on Masterchef having to explain it to his peers, Jim our waiter also left nothing out in his presentation and service and of course the Villa was spotless clean every day apart from the odd bug that chose to come in during the day which of course is hard to avoid living in the bush. As for the game drives they too didn’t disappoint with seeing all of the big 5 and much more. With it being our 31 year old son first every Safari he was blown away by it all, for him to see in abundance Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Leopard, Rhinos, Giraffe, Warrhog, Cheetah, Hippo, Nyala, Waterbuck & many many more on his very first visit was amazing. The information given by our game drive team of Coswell & Jika was second to none, their knowledge of this area(16,500 hectares) was incredible. The highlight of the game drive was the spotting of a male Leopard just as the sun was going down will live with us all forever.

Everything. Room was brilliant with modern, beautiful fixtures. Stunning views. Staff were amazing. The game drives were out of this world. Seriously, couldn’t have been better.

A lovely, vibrant, and gorgeous boutique hotel. The rooms were very clean, spacious, beautiful decor with wonderful quality linen and furniture! The pool was refreshing on a hot summers day, and was so inviting. The duty managers were very welcoming and helpful in booking activities for us in and around Hoedspruit. The hotel is very central, and is within close proximity to excellent restaurants, as well as many private game reserves with options of Morning and evening safaris of which the hotel will arrange and book on your behalf. There are also many other activities to do within and around Hoedspruit. Would definitely recommend, and can't wait for our return! Thank you Khiwane, and your lovely team. Lastly, our breakfast included in our stay at the Harvest House Restaraunt was divine! 10/10, with many options.

It’s hard to pick just one thing we liked, because honestly, this was one of the best stays we’ve had in all our extensive travels. Missing out on a place like this would be a real shame, the accommodation, interior, and rooms were absolutely top-notch. The location was also perfect for visiting Kruger National Park. A big thank you to Ruan and his wife for making the experience even more unforgettable. Do not miss this spot while you can!

Beautiful place surrounded with lush greenery and a viewing platform to see wild life. The staff are so nice and very helpful. It was overall a great experience staying there
