Libertador San Martín, heart of the shopping and entertainment area. I have stayed here twice now. The spa and pool are a plus. The rooms are nice and the hotel is well staffed. Breakfast was good but not great.

Blanca Patagonia is a charming boutique hotel in El Calafate, southern Patagonia. This small 4-star offers cosy guest rooms, great lake views and friendly service in a picturesque location. A daily buffet breakfast is offered. The wood construction was so charming, and the view from the common area, directly over the lake, as well as from our room was fantastic. The room itself was comfortable and one can sleep with the window open to enjoy the cold breeze, while it’s still silent. Staff was very friendly and helpful too.

Spa treatments can be booked and there are gym facilities on site. WiFi is free. The rooms are very comfortable with nice big jacuzzi tubs to soak in and heated floors which were both great after cold winter excursions. The view from the lake front room was spectacular.
