It stayed pleasantly warm even while it was snowing. Everything was comfortable, clean, modern, just as in hotel images. Car parking, ski storage, fitness center, and swimming pool are all conveniently connected and easily accessible.

The wellness area with Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and ice fountain is available for guests free of charge every day. I stayed in the Lucia for 2 Weeks at the start of Feb 2025. It is a nice modern styled hotel, conveniently located between the ski slope (top of Damuls) and the kitchen/ spar shop (middle of town). I was immediately welcomed and greeted with warm hospitality, and had no problem in communicating, even though my German is not very good. I even got free German lessons throughout my stay! The breakfasts were superb, fresh fried eggs every morning, and in the second week I was spoiled by delicious, heart warming 4 course dinners from Marlies & Martin. Marlies also kindly did my laundry for me throughout my stay! I thoroughly recommend this hotel for a vacation; Damuls-Mellau is a varied, quiet, unspoilt ski area that you will just want to keep coming back to. And hotel Lucia as well !
