Opened in December 2014, Hotel Nassfeld is located right in the Sonnenalpe Nassfeld Ski Area, only 100 metres from the slopes and the nearest chair lift. It features a restaurant, a spa area, and free WiFi access. Room was big and comfortable. Ski depot is modern with heated warmers for boots. Saunas are clean and good. The staff is very helpful and kind. They speak Croatian and it was helpful since I can speak Croatian quite good. I enjoyed all that hotel has to offer. Breakfast is excellent. Garage is also available.

Der Tröpolacherhof Hotel & Restaurant is located in the centre of Tröpolach, only 300 metres from the Millennium Express Cable Car leading into the Nassfeld Ski Area. Guests can relax in sauna, steam bath, and infrared cabin. The room was very cozy and spacious. The personnel were helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. It was nice to have a room to store skiing equipment and dry it off. The sauna was also very nice.

Great food, clean home -like atmosphere, great people. The family that owns and runs it made me feel welcome and at home. They were always ready to help out and attentive to me needs. It was not close to the Weissensee but the free bus service got me there when needed. A 2hr snow shoe hike through the woods was a great alternative to get there.

There is also a library and fitness centre. An amazing hotel 10m from the ski lift. We stayed here in the summer and it is a great place as a base for hiking in the surrounding mountains. The staff is friendly and professional, the food is tasty and the spa facilities are great.

The kids were pampered with ice creams, lollies and even honey. The Carinthia card which was provided is of excellent use for nearby trips / attractions. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, had everything that we needed plus great views. We will gladly return.
