People were friendly and staff was lovely and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and views were breathtaking. The forest and field/trail walks were lovely and hiking and swimming were our major pass times as well as visiting with friends. The indoor swimming pool was lovely and the outdoor pond a great plunging pond in September after a hot tub visit. Dinners were exceptional and breakfast is "healthy" with many choices. There is always a vegan/vegetarian option available.

The hotel has been renovated recently and is more modern than most big hotels, yet maintains its small town feel and culture. The room was extremely comfortable and furnished to smallest details. We were welcomed very pleasantly. We were very happy to be able to check-in after check-in hours. We were even happier after hearing we are getting a free upgrade to a better room. The room was very clean and had stunning views of the lake. The bed was very comfortable. At the breakfast table we had a great view of the lake and the breakfast-buffet offered a large selection. The available underground car park was very convenient. The highlight was the wellness area, which was accessible through a underground tunnel. The outdoor pools are comfortably warm (34 degrees) and the finish saunas are great. We really enjoyed sunbathing in the textile and textile free area, we felt very comfortable due to great sight protection. The privat access to the lake was also very cool and calming.
