The Heilthermen Resort Bad Waltersdorf is located in the Thermen- & Vulkanland in the East Styrian hill country, Eastern Styria’s hill country, 60 km from Graz. The property gave us a free room upgrade to a suite, which was amazing; beautiful modern room with a huge deck. the hotel-only spa area was amazing and very peaceful.

The family-run 4-star Naturhotel Bauernhofer is set in a quiet location on 1,132 metres above sea level on the Brandlucken, amidst the Almenland Nature Park. Awesome stay, great hotel, very nice breakfast and staff

Hotel-Restaurant Allmer is located a 10-minute walk from the centre of Weiz and offers a wellness area featuring a Finnish sauna and an infrared cabin. We only stayed for one night, but it is definitely worth to come back. The hotel is really nice an well designed, the staff are really friendly. It is run by a family and they were also there to make everything even more better. The restaurant hasn' got many different dishes, but what they got was perfect. The breakfast was simply the best ever! The rooms are huge and comfortable. We will come back hopefully soon.

The Mönichwalderhof enjoys a scenic location in Mönichwald in Eastern Styria. It offers a spa area with an indoor pool, and a large garden with a children’s playground. The food was excellent even for a someone with celiac. Super friendly staff! Clean big room in a beautiful village in the forest.

The family-run Mein Hotel Fast is situated in the centre of Wenigzell, just a 5-minute drive from the slopes and features a spacious spa area. We have spent a week at this location which lies at about 800 m in a charming little Mountain Village. The Hotel is very modern with very spacious rooms, immaculate and tidy. We originally booked a double room but on arrival , we were upgraded to a mini suite which was such a lovely surprise! This consisted of a bedroom leading onto a sitting room with yet another sofa which could’ve served as a third bed , from where the room opened onto a veranda with lovely views of the fields and towards the mountains in the background. The food was quite delicious and although we only expected breakfast and supper, they actually served a very substantial snack during the day between 2 and 4 pm The outdoor swimming pool was surrounded by decking for those people who enjoyed the Sun However, beyond that area was a large lawn dotted with shade trees where people could hide away from the sun and relax. There was also an indoor swimming pool which I used several times. It was charming with a lovely restroom next to it, with towels and robes. And looking out onto a private lawn area again dotted with deckchairs. It was very hot whilst we were there so I did not use the outdoor pool and the decking area surrounding it. But we went and hid under the big leafy trees on the lawn beyond the pool area Everything was beautifully done , to cater for all different kinds of guests. The other thing I liked was there was no piped music in the dining room , which made it lovely and peaceful If you wanted to have your meals outside, you could go and sit on the terrace outside the main dining room. It was very comfortable and breezy in this hot weather. I could go on and on, but it was the most amazing place and I will certainly come again Thank you very much, Hotel Fast.

The Almwellness Hotel Pierer****Superior on the Teichalm refreshes with even more recreational quality. This was a perfect holiday with attentive staff and wonderful setting and facilities. The relaxation and enjoyment was the very best. The family room spacious and the view stunning. The local food was delicious and vegetarian food readily available and tasty.

The hotel's facilities, while not the most modern, were adequate for our needs. The rooms were reasonably comfortable, and we appreciated the amenities provided. Although some areas showed signs of wear and tear, we understood that this was due to the hotel's age. Despite this, our room was clean and tidy, and we had no major complaints in that regard. (ps: no ac in some rooms) The breakfast buffet deserves special praise. We thoroughly enjoyed the wide variety of options available, which catered to different dietary preferences. The quality and taste of the food were excellent, and it provided a great start to our day.

Surrounded by the orchards and hills of the Pöllau Valley Nature Reserve, RETTER Bio-Natur-Resort is located in the scenic East Styrian hill country. It is beautiful hotel with great food and amazing facilities. We had a great time with an infant and they were very accommodating to our needs.
