In the country, yet not too far...with wildlife and adorable llamas. Stunning views. Especially when enjoying the infinity pool. The peace and tranquility is exactly what we needed. Only sounds were birds...beautiful. I loved the villa. The furnishings were classy and functional/comfortable. There was plenty of mood lighting. Ohh la la. The outside spa and bath under the stars was private and our favourite which we enjoyed with the complimentary champagne and chocolates. The meals were delicious too. I can't think of anything I'd change. Would highly recommend.

Shambala Eco Resort at Mount Tamborine is a dream. The location is stunning, private, with beautifully manicured gardens, a charming chapel, and a peaceful outdoor wedding area. Our room was large, modern and spotless, with a fully equipped kitchen and even a little bottle of fresh milk in the fridge — such a thoughtful touch. Staff were so kind and friendly. The spa bath was massive and the whole cottage was more beautiful than in the photos, ( bring along your own salts or bath bombs). We loved the cozy fireplace — don’t hesitate to pay the $20 for firewood; it’s totally worth it for the atmosphere. The place is easy to find with free parking and just a gorgeous, peaceful setting. There’s nothing negative to say — we’ll definitely be back.

Such a beautiful little spot - right at the end of Springbrook road and across from the Bilbrough Falls. The garden is stunning and full of wildlife. We spent hours sitting in the comfortable warm lounge looking out the enormous window to the well maintained and clearly very loved gardens. The babbling brook that you can hear from the lounge goes all the way to the falls, which of course has a magnificent view. The cafe is quaint with good food and perfect tea. You can tell it is made with love by San and Cat. The bath is ENORMOUS. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in a long time. Because there is no where for dinner on the mountain, we brought dinner with us and used the well stocked kitchen. Plenty of cafes around for breakfast and lunch. I can’t wait to visit again.
