This was a wonderful place to stay, so relaxing and blissful with the beautiful surrounds and immaculate decor. The host was lovely, very helpful and welcoming. The spa was absolutley amazing and we made the most of it - highly reccomended!

The apartament is located in a magnificent property very close to the village. Very comfortable and magnificently decorated, I stayed there for a few days with my daughter and we had a wonderful stay. A special mention for the hosts, Viviane and Ivo, who made us feel at like we were at home.

We were unable to fulfil our stay as our car broke down en route. We only notified the hotel on the day and they were gracious enough to take our circumstances into consideration and not to charge us which would have been their right. We were very impressed and grateful for the flexibility they showed. We are hoping to come and stay in the future. Thank you.

Not just a place to stay the night, but to take a break and rest. We were able to walk around the beautiful property, discover hidden treasures in the brocante and really feel at home away from home! Bonus? Never have we had such a delicious breakfast, prepared with love by the lovely owners!

Hoeve Roosbeek features luxurious rooms, cosy gastronomy and free WiFi in a restored farmstead, 15 minutes’ drive from Sint-Truiden. It features a garden terrace, bicycle or vespa rental. I took an art class 2 1/2 miles from this location so it was perfect for a short bike commute. With global warming, it was nice to have air conditioning as an option because most small countryside places in Belgium don’t necessarily have air-conditioning..

Hidden away behind a little cobblestone path, Freddy (the owner) has created a place that has everything you need to relax and wind down. Lots of space, both inside and outside, a swimming pond, a sauna and hottub, hammocks, BBQs and fireplaces. Surrounded by lush, green terrain abundant with birds and of course, the donkeys. I'll miss the sound of them... The surrounding areas are good for walking/cycling, but you won't find much in terms of bars/restaurants/shops. Whether that's good or bad depends on what you're looking for.
