The spa area includes different types of saunas, a hot tub, a steam bath and a relaxation area. Turkish bath, salt room and massage treatments by professional physiotherapists are also available at a surcharge. I loved the spa facilities and that there were shuttle busses from the hotel to the gondola and from gondola to the hotel. Plus there was a room to store our ski equipment. The breakfast was good and varied! The rooms were good as well, we were in an apartment with two rooms a living room with a small kitchenette(it didn’t have a stove, but it did have a microwave and a toaster that were working) also got some water tea and honey as a complimentary free gift! It has a great room service menu with good prices(we sadly didn’t get the chance to order from it) there was a gaming room and salt room but with extra costs! The pool was big and it is kind of between 1.40-1.55 deep!

The Perun Hotel enjoys a peaceful location next to the large city park on the edge of Sandanski. It offers fine Bulgarian cuisine.

All rooms at the Hotel Perun are air-conditioned and have a balcony offering views of the Pirin Mountains' foothills. Free Wi-Fi is available in all of them. The bathroom was clean and done very well. The bed was so comfortable, the warderobe full of pillows. I liked the breakfast and especially the pancake machine ♥️

There is a lobby bar and a piano bar with live music. Swimming pools and saunas are wonderful, warm water, very clean and quiet and not crowded at all, could find many empty sunbeds. Breakfast was very good, with enough options to pick from. Coffee was pretty ok. Staff very friendly. Parking was large. Great place to relax a bit if you have a long way ahead to drive, or even a good option to spend a few days there and relax.

The property is a perfect starting point both for ski lovers and those wanting to explore the historical old town of Bansko. The staff was great. They are allways eager to help and they made me enjoy my stay. The food is great at the buffet cantina. There is a HERO in the background at the buffet who is cookcing awsome food. I booked with breackfest included but then I decided to go each nigh and talke my dinner at the hotel buffet since there is nothing in Bansko that can beat what they provide. And the price is perfect.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Kempinski Hotel in Bansko, and while most of the experience was exceptional, there were a couple of things worth noting. First, the breakfast was outstanding—easily a 10/10. The egg station was a standout, with fresh and perfectly prepared dishes each morning. The variety and quality were excellent. We were served by Darko during dinner, and he was truly exceptional. His wine recommendations were spot-on, and he made our dining experience special. Props to him for his impeccable service. The reception was welcoming and efficient, and the pool area was fantastic—well-maintained and the perfect spot to relax. However, one thing that bothered us was the lack of enforcement of the restaurant’s dress code. While there is a policy in place, we noticed people dining in shorts, and worse, some were even blowing their noses at the tables, but everything else was exceptional.
