Located directly at the Salt Flats with an unblocked view to the Salt Flats and to the sunset, built from salt blocks like an palace for a king, it is absolutely impressive.
The facilities and the services exceeds any ratings. You feel like in paradise.
They have their own travel in-house travel company, Abigail Hidalgo Corp., who have arranged on short notice an unforgettable tour for me.
The evening Buffet was also very impressive.

Almost completely built out of salt blocks, Hotel de Sal Luna Salada offers rooms with overlooking the Uyuni salt mine. Breakfast is served and there is a restaurant. Uyuni town is 30 minutes away by car. Free WiFi is available in common areas.
A buffet breakfast is served daily. The restaurant offers Andean Cuisine. Lunch and dinner can be requested at a fee. Additionally, spa services are offered for an extra fee.
It was a one of a kind hotel in the middle of nowhere built from salt blocks. The interior was very tastefully decorated with small alcoves along a long corridor with big log heaters. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Lovely view all around. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

The hostel was very spacious and exceeded expectations in its facilities and lounge areas. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very helpful with bag storage during tours. Rooms were well heated, which was perfect for the minus temperatures that Uyuni can reach at night. Only stayed one night due to a packed itinerary but the hostel would be perfect for a longer stay too.
Staff are nice. Rooms are super clean and comfy. Beds all have sockets next to them and the upper bunks don’t squeak. The hostel has lots of communal space and is quite social. The breakfast is brilliant - scrambled eggs, toast, cereal, coffee/tea, juice, water. They have a space for leaving your bags while on tours (small fee per day). The bathrooms are plentiful and clean, with toilet paper. Showers have hot water.
We had a lovely room.. the original room we were given was huge on the ground floor with a TV. We asked could we have a room upstairs this was no problem at all.. it was a smaller room but lots of space for 2 of us. There was no TV in the room which was no problem for us. Great shower and great Internet.. we stayed just one night. The breakfast was amazing really. The staff were really nice and helpful.
Location is great, right next to a number of restaurants and a couple of shops; round the corner from most of the tour operators and a short walk away from the market. The courtyard is a nice space to sit out and relax. Staff were pleasant, and allowed people to store bags when they were going on 2/3-day tours.
very helpful staff who answered our requests and even had breakfast ready before our departure time. Very nice rooms with ample space
Great hotel super close to the salt flats! You can cycle right out to them, worth noting you need to do a salt flats tour as well though so you can go further out! Lovely having a spa on site to relax and have a massage. Was fairly expensive for room size but lots of places to relax around the hotel so didn’t matter too much.
Very comfortable hotel in Uyuni - good stopover ahead of or after visiting the salt flats. Bit rough around the edges but trying really hard to provide a luxury spa and hotel service for a modest price. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and steam room and massage service is available (looked like more spa services, such as hot tub, were being installed). Decent restaurant.
What a place! If you want to wake up after sleeping in a salt-domed bedroom in a super comfy bed to a stunning sunrise, and then go and have a delicious breakfast, this is the place to stay! I was short on time and could only do a one day tour of the Salar, and this was such a great way to extend the experience to include night time views and enjoy the sunrise. The spa is open to 11pm which was so nice after a long day and a chilly sunset over the Salar. There’s a really toasty heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
Good warm clean shower, terrific WiFi, spaces outside the room to relax. Really good breakfast. Quiet. Very friendly staff. I really enjoyed my stay here. Definitely recommended!
