It was so easy to get from one place to another because the trams all stopped a few steps away from our hotel. We had a problem with booking.com tbh, because they cancelled our booking while I was mid flight. I opened my phone to find out that our booking had been cancelled. I had to call the hotel to ensure that our booking was still secure because really, we had no where else to stay. I was so appreciative that they held on to our booking because they too were surprised about the sudden cancellation. The staff assisted us the entire time and were so gracious and pleasant to coordinate with. From this, to the check in, to the check out..everything was perfect. I highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a pleasant stay in Basel.

The zoo, the town hall, the theatre, the concert hall and other city attractions are within easy walking distance. The bed was cozy, the room was the perfect size and a great temperature. The bathroom met all my needs. The safe was big and I made good use if the iron and hair dryer. The breakfast was the best part. I will forever return to this hotel in Basel for all my business trips mainly because of the breakfast. The staff was helpful and kind too.
