The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. The property faces Eiger (mountain/glacier) and having breakfast facing this every morning while the FIRST gondolas pass by and paragliders land on the field next to the hotel is pure Swiss magic. The location bypasses the town buzzing with tourists as it sits 100 meters in elevation above the town- avoiding the congestion of a popular destination. It does however have a walking path into town but, coming back up could be challenging if you’re tired. By the way, we did enjoy the pavlova dessert at the hotel restaurant!

The Arc-en-ciel hotel in traditional Chalet style is a hotel situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Gstaad, next to the Eggli cable car station, close to the car-free centre. Good location and exceptional staff.

When I lost my way while using public transportation, they promptly came to my rescue and personally guided me to the hotel. One of the standout features of this hotel is undoubtedly the breathtaking views it offers. Whether it's from the Panorama Boutique Hotel itself or from the Solbad hotel restaurant where I had my breakfast and dinner, the vistas were simply stunning. I couldn't help but be captivated by the beauty that surrounded me. The hotel also grants guests access to the Solbad spa, which boasts excellent facilities and equally remarkable views. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax after a day of exploring the area. The cleanliness of both the apartment and the spa was impeccable, and the staff's attentiveness and helpfulness added an extra touch of luxury to my stay. Speaking of food, the quality of the meals at the Solbad hotel was exceptional. As it shares the same owner as the Panorama Boutique Apartment, it's no surprise that the culinary experience was top-notch. The location of the Panorama Boutique Apartment couldn't be more ideal for exploring the numerous tourist attractions around Lake Thun.

Featuring a restaurant, Restaurant & Hotel Schlossberg is located in Thun. Guests can enjoy a small wellness area including a sauna, steam bath, hot tub and some loungers on site. Absolutely incredible location, as close as you can be to staying in a castle. Friendly staff that were happy to accommodate our late arrival and early departure. Really clean facilities.

Offering an indoor pool and a spa and wellness centre, Hôtel de Rougemont & Spa in Rougemont features Alpine-style rooms with free WiFi, and some are fitted with a terrace or balcony. Everything, from check in until check out. Eva had checked us in prior to our arrival and it was the smoothest/ fastest check in ever. Got out of the car and straight into our upgraded suite. The rooms were simple and elegant, balcony view was awesome

Located in Grindelwald, a 10-minute walk from the train station, Boutique Hotel Glacier offers a restaurant with a terrace, a bar and a lounge with views of Mount Eiger. Absolutely amazing property and staff. The view was gorgeous. The hotel is of the highest quality of service and amenities. They have invested in the best materials and resources which was evident from the furnishings.

Situated right at the bank of the well-known Blausee lake with its crystal-clear blue water, this hotel features a gourmet restaurant offering trout and other delicious treats. Everything. The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful, and even looked cheerful. Food was awesome. Both the breakfast and dinner were very good. I was surprised at the nice service during breakfast. The fact that you can eat and enjoy the view at the same time was a huge plus. The room was clean and pleasant. Shower was amazing with very strong water pressure and warm/hot water. And the spa! I have never experienced such a pleasant and spectacular spa. They had so many options - the jacuzzi, hot tub, dry sauna, wet sauna, etc. Definitely coming back for the spa. You can even enjoy the scenery during the spa. The view! Probably one of the most beautiful views even in the whole Switzerland. The Blausee lake is right in front of the hotel. A special shoutout to Peter! You were truly helpful and the hotel gave me another reason to come back to Switzerland. Hope to see you again soon!
