Located 450 metres above Lake Lucerne in the canton of Nidwalden close to Lucerne, this 5-star hotel awaits you with a combination of modern comfort and a traditional Swiss ambience. The room was very clean and the staff was spot-on, they did everything to let us enjoy our stay. The breakfast was exceptional, everything is gourmet food. Spa was incredible, including the infinity pool.

An unforgettable magic experience of visiting a Japanese restaurant Minamo with a chef Yutaka Kobayashi. Every dish was like a piece of art. Situated 450 metres above Lake Lucerne on the Bürgenberg mountain, in the Bürgenstock Resort, the Waldhotel by Bürgenstock was designed by star architect Matteo Thun and features the Waldhotel Spa and... It is an amazing hotel with an unforgettable vibe. Everything around is so beautiful: mountains, lawns, the lake, even buildings look great. The spa is spacious, well equipped, with different rooms and pools, including outside pool with a hot water. There are a bunch of restaurants and bars on the side with delicious dishes and drinks. We had a hike every day and the trails were spectacular.

It also included complimentary orange juice, sparkling water, bier, bread, jam, butter, berry drink, fruits, chocolates. Wifi worked well and apartment was in quiet neighbourhood. Close to supermarket (5 min walk). Owner also provided some surrounding recommendation (Menzberg) which was absolutely worth it.
