The design of the rooms was truly impressive — spacious, beautifully decorated, and with a bright, open feel thanks to the high ceilings. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, offering both quality and abundance with plenty of options to choose from. The spa area was another highlight — clean, relaxing, and with a pleasant fragrance throughout, especially in the Turkish sauna. Overall, a perfectly balanced mix of comfort, elegance, and attention to detail. Highly recommended!

There is not much to say about this place it is probably on of the best places to stay at the Lago Maggiore. Everything is perfect. Very friendly and professional staff.

Located directly on the shore of Lake Maggiore, a private bathing beach, the jetty with its own marina and garden, guest rooms and suites. From the first minute of arriving to the hotel you feel that you are important guest. The staff is friendly and very careful. There is s valet parking. You are here only for relax! We tried some restaurants of the hotel (Marina and Eden Rock): compliments and thanks to the chef’s and staff, they are professional. The breakfast in the hotel is fantastic. Cleaning service received from me high rating too. The room with fantastic view on the lake, with terrace where you can spend romantic evenings with s glass of champagne.

Everything was excelent (accomodation, food, interior abd outdoor design). The personal , especially Signore Chistiano Rossi, was very helpfull and pleasent. Hotelul de 5 stele Grand Villa Castagnola este situat pe malul lacului Lugano, într-un parc subtropical privat, la câţiva paşi de centrul vechi din Lugano. Beautiful location right across from the lake. Outside the front door was the incline to Monte Bre which was extremely convenient with stunning views!

Surrounded by a Mediterranean garden in the hills above Ascona, Casa Berno features a heated outdoor pool and a sun terrace overlooking Lake Maggiore. Free WiFi is available. we had a great experience during our stay the room was amazing with a very nice view, all the staff was very friendly made us feel home ( our regards specially to Stephanie), me and my wife definitely will choose it again when we visit Ascona

We absolutely loved our stay! Gorgeous views, wonderful staff, and the food was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were large. We had a wonderful time.
