At Sami Atacama guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. The property is out of the way but beautiful, the staff make it exceptional. After coming from a hostel where the staff didn’t want to help us at all, the staff here organised a taxi to come and collect us, let us check in early and even had a bottle of wine waiting in our room for us. We enjoyed the pool and the many animals wandering around. We left early in the morning to go to the salt flats and they organised a little packed breakfast to take with us and gave us hot water for tea in the morning. Bed was super comfy and the room was spotless. 1000% recommend.

Inspired by Atacama’s phenomenal natural surroundings and regional cultural elements, our home features 51 fully-equipped rooms, a pool, a wellness area and a communal gathering space for intimate events. Our restaurant and bar—centerpieces of our home—will locally source seasonal ingredients and build a native herb garden honoring the flavors of the desert. I really don't understand the criticism of some guests. The rooms are comfortable. The garden is super maintained. Because Latam changed our flights, we arrived very early. We were allowed early check in. Thank you, house keeping who cleaned our room with eye for details. The only todo for the hotel is to organise a pool policy. Russian and UK guests placed towels everywhere so that all places in the shade were occupied although they were not even in the hotel. Inform the guests that towels will be removed if absent.

Andrea and Graciela, you made our trip to Atacama area! Due to excursions being very early, we didn't have breakfast but they have some things in reception for you if you want to do. Great location, walking distance to main street. Safe parking. Pool and resting area, as at home. Top restaurant in town (though not part of hotel, they are renting premises), one of the best dinners we had during our 3-weeks trip to Chile. Last but not least, cold beer available in fridge at reception.

The property has a relaxation centre offering massages and yoga classes, as well as smoothies and teas. I had an exceptional stay at Hotel Kimal in San Pedro de Atacama. I stayed in one of the bungalows “Kimal Pueblo” and absolutely loved it, peaceful, charming, and very comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after long days exploring the desert. The service throughout the hotel was excellent. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and professional. One detail I especially appreciated was that at the end of the day, the cleaning lady would quietly pass by the room, prepare the bed for my return, and turn on the bedside lamps, such a thoughtful touch that made coming back feel so cozy and welcoming. The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the spa and hotel facilities were fantastic. The restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food and amazing service every time. I highly recommend Hotel Kimal for anyone visiting the Atacama Desert. I would definitely stay here again!
