The Waldorf Astoria Spa offers a range of signature treatments and features 7 private spa suites. Guests can also refresh themselves with a workout at the fitness centre or relax at the heated indoor swimming pool, which also has a whirlpool. We have stayed at many so-called 5 star accommodations in China, but this is the first hotel to actually deliver. Staff throughout the the entire facility were solicitous, helpful, and smiling. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with many items made fresh to order and brought to the table. Staff were fantastic at the buffet rapidly supplying anything we asked for, and doing so with a smile. The rooms were fantastic: beautiful decor, lovely bathrooms, luxurious linens and all of it suffused with the rich fragnrances of Aesop toiletries. The spa and locker room facilities were clean and well supplied--the steam room was a wonderful treat. We were even able to enjoy a few minutes in the pool with no swim lessons! We are not really lap-swimmers, but enjoy a good dip, and have found ourselves frowned at in most Chinese hotel pools (pools are apparently for exercise, not fun!). Note to expats: BJ has a strict mandatory swim cap rule. Friendlier hotels will offer swim cap loans to foreign guests (not so friendly ones force you to buy caps if you want to swim--kids and adults alike!), but the Waldorf was kind enough to say nothing, allowing us to swim capless (imagine! The freedom!). Finally, hooray for massage therapist Angela, she was magnificent--a true luxury experience!

Convenient guest services include currency exchange, concierge service and luggage storage. Car rentals and ticketing services are available at the tour desk. Amazing hotel! Service was very good! We received a free upgrade, the room is massive, and equipments are very new and fancy. I requested for a welcome postcard for my girlfriend, they not only wrote a super cute card, but also give us a platter of fruits and chocolate. Overall, the experience was very good.

Spacious rooms with big comfortable bed and stylish bathroom. Friendly staff and good choice for breakfast. Huge pool also a big merit.
Room 8 th door, spacious, nice layout of sliding doors dividing room and bathroom. Breakfast buffet great choice
Quiet hotel with more of a guest house vibe than a hotel. There is a coffee and tea station in the room but no breakfast at the hotel. I liked the pillows and the relaxed vibe of the space. There are unlimited choices of food in the area.
Stunning building! Beautifully designed - worth a visit even if not staying! Short walk out of exit 13 from the airport. Gorgeous, Japanese-Industrial design, good sized, luxurious room with remote control blinds. Good breakfast options and lovely chef. Relaxing massage and facial in spa. Really enjoyable working space amongst the library and displayed products.
Beautiful spacious hotel close to airport with a shuttle bus running to and from what is very convenient for a transit stay guests. The room was big and clean with really comfortable bed, nice bathroom with shower & tub, everything was working well, no noises from the street - perfect for relaxation. Hotel has Japanese restaurant, cafe, gym, decent size swimming pool & sauna.
Great quality furniture, spacious room, jacuzzi in room, swimming pool, sauna... Kind people at the desk all the time, ready to help to solve everything, even if interacting in English had sometimes challanges, the staff was always ready to call a collegue and sort out everything. The room was clean, all the hotel too. Good breakfasf with all kinds of food.
Spacious room with twin beds each about 120 cm wide. Beautiful pool, recently renovated sauna area. Great value breakfast at 88 CNY/person or even less depending on the booking. Bank of China branch and Starbucks at the back, and beyond that a small supermarket with a great choice of useful Chinese and western foodstuff and necessities. And it's the starting point of Beijing Hikers' excursions to the "Wild" Great Wall!
Booked king suite which was extremely spacious and comfortable. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room to relax after a long day. Breakfast had variety. Evren, a staff member, in the Residents Club was attentive and an asset to the hotel. In walking distance to Chongwenmen subway station. Excellent food supermarket in shopping mall next door. Visit for the experience especially the oyster and fish section. The Roof Top Bar to relax and enjoy a sundowner was great.
