(By the way - you meet the hotel shuttle van 🚐 just 100 meters left of Arrivals Gate 1 as you walk out of the Kunming Airport). A great value and an extremely well appointed hotel room with very nice touches and great furnishings. Everything felt very new and clean and definitely one of the nicer 4 star hotels in the airport area. Good working AC and very helpful front desk staff - including Joyce who helped me with my WIFI. Breakfast is high quality but is mostly Chinese style (which I like) with Rice noodles 🍜 and a few hot Chinese dishes. Hotel 🏨 is in a little shopping area (with a bunch of other similar airport hotels) that have some tea shops and local restaurants. Great choice for a layover at the Kunming airport.

Only a short 1-minute stroll from Shuhe Ancient Town, The Bivou features accommodation in local and modern styles combined together. The hospitality and care for the wellness of their guests go beyond expectations and anything I have ever experienced in a hotel. From the first moment of walking through the doors and being greeted by May and HeiMi (the cat), I felt the warmness of stepping foot into Bivou-instantly, I was at a place that felt like home. Right when we stepped through the threshold, we were offered homemade bread (that I could still taste even now) and some delicious apple tea. The ayis (aunties) helped move our heavy luggage into the beautiful room, and spent time introducing the activities in the hotel, activities we could do around Lijiang, and different hikes that we could go on. Our room was so COMFORTABLE - high ceilings, spacious bathroom with a rain shower, clean and woodsy interior, and firm beds with warming mats. The welcome package included lotion, lip balm, and the most comprehensive maps of Lijiang, as well as a binder filled with activities to do. The activities weren't your typical "tourist" activities but they were incredibly curated, local gems like biking to Baishi village and going to see the Naxi orchestra (Nomi helped booked for us! Thank you!). The owner of Bivou is so fun and helpful - she gave us a map for Tiger Leaping Gorge and even helped us arrange a hotel on the trail! For a lot of my stay in Lijiang, I was sick (some food poisoning), but the ayis, especially May, kept me alive - not even exaggerating. They went out of their way to cook porridge for me, recommended and brewed red tea for my stomach ache, delivered homemade soup and dumplings up to the room, and changed the bed sheets at midnight for us. The Bivou cafe was the ONLY place I trusted to eat at because I wasn't feeling well. The food is so healthy, fresh, homecooked with love, and absolutely healing. Bivou is not your typical boutique hotel, not the Banyan, nor the Four Seasons.

Insane value for money. The breakfast was amazing, the room was comfortable and clean. It really felt like a 5 star hotel.

The hotel is beautiful from the moment the car pulls up out the front. It's huge with 420 rooms. My rooms was quite a walk from the lift was there was a view everywhere. The room was quite large and had everything I needed to enjoy my 4 nights.

Situated in Kunming among the greeneries, a 4-minute drive from Haigeng Park, HUALUXE Hotels & Resorts Kunming has a fitness centre and garden. Clean, nice resort. Good breakfast buffet. Nice free tea ceremony in the lobby. Friendly staff. Dinner location is slightly without a nice atmosphere. Location is close to nature. Far from the centers, shops, restaurants etc. but easy to take a taxi. Hotel helps you arrange.

Our room was lovely—it was well-decorated, clean, and so cozy. We especially loved the high-quality amenities and the stunning view of the mountains and town. ​The complimentary breakfast was another highlight. There were so many delicious options, and we really enjoyed the variety. The staff were very attentive and always ready to help. While some didn't speak much English, we easily communicated using a translation app, and it was no problem at all. ​One of the most thoughtful things they did was surprise a family member with a birthday cake and a card. It was such a special touch that really showed their incredible hospitality. ​The resort is also in a great location. It was just a quick Didi ride to the ancient town, or a nice short walk if we felt like strolling. Plus, they even offer a convenient shuttle service to and from the airport or train station if you book it in advance. ​Overall, we had a truly wonderful time and can't say enough good things about our experience!

Hotel Indigo Lijiang Ancient Town is located in Lijiang Ancient Town. It features a wellness centre, an indoor pool and a fitness centre. The luxurious rooms offer free wired internet. Very nice modern and spacious room. Good location and attentive staff.

Jayden NAXI Healing Lodge臣安纳西疗愈小院 - Namaste có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung, sân hiên và nhà hàng ở Lệ Giang. Ngoài bếp chung, chỗ nghỉ này còn có sân chơi trẻ em. We really enjoyed our stay at Jayden Lodge Homestay. Johnson and Carole were so welcoming and friendly, we felt like home at their place. It was really appreciable to speak English with them, they are also really happy to share and to help. The bedroom was really big and bright, and it was greatly atypical to stay in an old naxi house. Everything was perfect, we highly recommend!
