We had a wonderful time at Coconuco Beach Resort. It is a quiet oasis just 10 minutes walking distance outside of buzzing Palomino. We really had a great and relaxing time. The rooms are very clean, the premises are well looked after and the staff went out of their way to make this stay a 10/10.

Definitely my top10 beachtown property, and I've stayed in a bunch. Very receptive hosts. Perfect for the couple - you get an isolated space which is all yours and has all perks needed. Private pool is a gem, especially for this rate. Bit further from the very center of Palomino, then again - it's 10mins walk.

I booked at the last minute and they were immediately available to check me in and make sure I was comfortable. They made me coffee in the morning and let me check out late the next day. The hotel’s sweet dog even slept outside my door to make sure I felt safe, which I appreciated as a solo female traveler :) The place is rustic, but for me that's a plus and the beds were clean and comfortable with mosquito nets and the rooms have fans. I would definitely stay here again.
