Eric is incredible, everyone else is just as kind. We were a bit worried beforehand about going to a place that "has you" in terms of being locked in on an island. Don't be worried! These guys are the most hospitable folks you'll ever meet. I can't wait to be back there again, again and again. Kudos to the entire team - you guys are the best!

An American breakfast is available at the accommodation. Initially looked at the day pass only but decided to stay for a night - best decision. The room is beautiful, the staff very helpful. One can also book excursions on the island at a fair price (plankton night swim) - we absolutely loved them. Shout out to Jorge who went above and beyond for helping organise the excursions.

Speaking English and Spanish at the 24-hour front desk, staff are ready to help around the clock. We stayed in one of the treehouses. What a unique experience! Above the jungle canopy, watching iguanas and bird right next to us. The sunset over the sea from the deck was gorgeous. We also loved riding bikes around the property. The room had internet and we were able to get work done. It also had air conditioning. At the resort, the food was yummy, staff polite, and spa relaxing. It was a delight

Snorkelling, canoeing and windsurfing activities can be practiced. What a dream! Everything is designed and created with a lot of thought and love to details. The staff is very attentive. Thanks to Ingrid and her great team. We recommend doing many tours by the hotel: bike tour, plankton usw. There is also a diving center on site. Everything was great organized, from the boat ride in Cartagena over welcome and all the meals. They also work together with the local community. And I really loved it that they don’t play music. You enjoy the silence and see a lot of animals in and out of water. Had a room with a private balcony over the see: marvelous!

Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. Very friendly and enjoyable place. The Eco guides were not only wonderful people but also excellent guides. I very much enjoyed doing some activities with them ie kayak and snorkling! A trully wonderful experience spending time with them. They love the island and have a lot of knowledge about the flora and the fauna. Very much enjoyed the experience.

The breakfast offers buffet, continental or Full English/Irish options. We had a wonderful trip! The property itself is stunning. The architecture, design and decor are unobtrusive, modern and tasteful - 10/10. they’ve made great use of natural materials which blend into the gorgeous island environment. We also loved the opportunity to experience some local flora and fauna - the curious resident iguanas and the beautiful parrots that occasionally and noisily flew through. We stayed in an elevated bungalow which had a comfortable bed, excellent AC, and a great patio from which we could watch the sun set. I also really appreciated the lighting — lovely fixtures and warm bulbs — as that seems to be an afterthought at most places we’ve staged in Colombia. The beach area is great, with plenty of seating via beach chairs and day beds, for all guests even when they seemed to be at capacity. We appreciated the games strewn about the garden area (cornhole, giant chess and jenga sets). Food was good - we mostly ate at the kiosk and enjoyed the fresh ceviche, empanadas and shrimp. We took advantage of the buffet mostly for breakfast, and appreciated the variety and abundance of local and not-so-local options. Also - big shout out to the staff who were all absolutely lovely and patient with the fact that we knew very little Spanish.

The organisation of the staff was outstanding, they were all friendly and supportive. We loved both of the booked bungalows. They were clean and comfy. We really enjoyed being in contact with the locals through different activities: luminous plankton, eco walk and visit to the mangroves, snorkelling, riding the bicycle.

We had a blast at this pretty much private island! It’s a really great value. We’re not ones for sitting at the beach so we enjoyed snorkeling all around. They had a masseuse on hand we all loved that was very reasonable. We also did the plankton tour at night that blew us away. All the staff was so nice and accommodating.
