Amazing location surrounded by trees, stunning huge huts with palm leaf roof, air con, massive bed, showers were lush and each hut had their own outside plunge pool on decking along with sun beds - ours wasn’t overlooked and was surrounded by trees and overlooked the river. There was also a beautiful infinity pool, bar and restaurant. Staff were brilliant.

Between Tayrona Park and Ciudad Perdida- Km 42 Troncal del Caribe, Guachaca, Magdalena, Colombia. This was such a wonderful hidden gem in the jungle close to the beautiful Rio River. The food and facilities were amazing! The large, open yoga room and refreshing little pool were great. We loved the food and the room was cozy and comfortable. I loved my time here and I would love to come back.

The accommodation offers an American or vegetarian breakfast. Staff were exceptional, pool was lovely to sit and soak up the sun. Beach was only 15 minute walk away and there were some shops and restaurants 30 minute walk away. Varied food menu and all at reasonable cost. It was very quiet as we were there during off season but we loved that it was the perfect place to relax.

A à la carte breakfast is available each morning at the accommodation. Beautiful and comfortable retreat located between a beautiful lake / playa Los Naranjos and the playa Los Angeles. The small walk to playa Los Angeles is incredible. The staff is lovely and everything is made for a relaxing stay including the large swimming pool. Last but not least, I usually don’t expect much from hotels in terms of food but I was blown away by my dinner here.

Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge by Mareygua is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino. The property is an eco-friendly hostel that offers private rustic rooms with balcony and bathroom. The location of Quetzal Dorado is 17min walking distance from the Zaino Tayrona Entrance, or you can take a bus for 3k pesos (0.67Eur) We have breakfast included, and they were amazing as well as the full staff at the location, which service was top top. The Lodge itself was cleaned at all times. The room was well equipped for a relaxing experience. At dinner, you can have a panoramic view of the park while enjoying the meal. The establishment houses a gourmet restaurant, as well as a humidity area, catamaran mesh. There is Wifi and free private parking. Breakfast is served at the table with more than 3 options on the menu. Upon arrival, Ana welcomed us kindly and upgraded our room to a superior one because it was available. She did the effort of speaking clearly and slowly so I could follow with my basic Spanish skills. The hotel is superb. A lovely infrastructure built into the hills and into nature. You feel relaxed at all time when staying there. As it is inside the National Park, you can enjoy the park for multiple days with just one entry. They have a private shuttle service that brings you to the Cañaveral trailhead. We always had dinner in the hotel restaurant as there aren't any options inside the park anyway. The food was very delicious which we usually don't expect from restaurants without competition. Everything was perfect, 10/10 I definitely recommend this place.
