Perfectly situated with great views and access to the ocean! Loved the short walk into the town and It felt very private, loved our spacious room, and the staff was very friendly. Food was also exceptional.

Located a mere 50 metres from Guiones’s main break, in Nosara, Costa Rica, The Sunset Shack features a year-round outdoor pool and guests can also enjoy the on-site restaurant. Restaurant was delicious and great value for money. Staff were exceptional. I felt so comfy travelling alone. Finally, the location was quiet, close to the beach and cool amenities and thankfully did not have the touristy feel of North Nosara.

Amazing property and private bungalows. Staff was exceptional and food incredible! Many thermal hot springs to swim in and we saw monkeys!

The location, atmosphere and staff were perfect. The general relaxed friendly vibe was consistent from the moment we entered the hotel to the minute we left. You feel like the employees are well trained, well treated and well selected. They have genui9ne pride and love for their jobs.

The staff, the nice beach garden with the bar. Good breakfast and nice dinner. Room was comfortable and clean

My stay was absolutely stunning, with spectacular views of the ocean and sunsets. I especially loved the small island across from us, which I named Crocodile Island because it’s shaped just like a crocodile. The landscape, the rooms, the restaurants, and the staff-everything was top-notch. Special shout out to Wilson, thank you for all your assistance. Every moment of my stay was memorable. I highly recommend visiting during the off-season when it’s quieter, less crowded, and more peaceful. The highlight for me was experiencing their incredible rain showers during a thunderstorm—it felt magical, almost like a Divine Sky Symphony with lightning and thunder. Truly an unforgettable experience!
