First timers in CR so we didn't know what to expect. We were very happy with our choice. The breakfasts were terrific with cereal, yogurt, eggs (scrambled or fried), sausage, pancakes etc were great. The resort is extremely well maintained and clean. The pool and kids pool were very clean and probably 89°F during our stay (end of February). The Tiki Bar is staffed with great guys who are happy to help. They offer adult beverages and kids drinks along with some really great lunch and dinner options. The only complaint is around the policy around the drinks at the pool. I completely understand not having any glass around the pool but there is nothing better than relaxing in the pool with your drink on the edge of the pool especially when the Tiki Bar provides the drinks in glass. Might suggest a review? The accommodations were also very nice with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and the room was made up daily with fresh towels for the bathroom and the pool. The location was also an easy walk to Playa Manzanillo. Are there resorts that you could pay double or triple the price? I am sure there are but why???? This resort satisfied all our needs and when looking at the hit to the bank account it was a fantastic choice. Don't be fooled by others, you will NOT be disappointed here

Very comfortable cabin with great kitchen and bed. But the location is unbeatable. Watching the animals from your doorstep is priceless. I would not want to stay anywhere else if I go to Tortuguero.

The spot was so peaceful, the only noise was from the wild life around us. The location was so close to the national park and beach. Our host was welcoming and accomidating, will stay there again if I find mysef in cahuita!

Just 50 metres from the beach, Hotel El Encanto is located in Cahuita and features a pool and a restaurant. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and private terraces. Lovely room. Lots of little extras to make the stay quite nice. Beautiful grounds, secure parking, nice safe neighborhood, and super close to the beach. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Amazing happy hour!!! 2 for one LARGE drinks. Definitely get your monies worth. Decent breakfast as well. Restaurant on site well-priced. Highly recommend.
