For over 160 years, the Europäischer Hof Heidelberg has stood for genuine hospitality and timeless elegance. The hotel is beautifully appointed, the staff are all friendly and extremely professional and attentive. Bed was incredibly comfortable, dinner was excellent, and the breakfast buffet incredible! We were delighted to meet the owner/manager Dr Caroline von Kretschmann and be able to listen to her philosophy and history of the hotel. What a personal touch! The attention to detail was amazing - every room a fresh flower, hallways with fresh flowers. Beautiful antiques mixed with modern comforts. And I loved that they had a cute little rubber duckie in the bathroom 😃

This fine 4-star design hotel is situated in the heart of the town of Villingen-Schwenningen, in the Black Forest. The Neckar cycle path runs beside the property, which offers bike storage facilities.... Modern property decorated beautifully. Rooms spacious and spotless. Breakfast was delicious with wonderful selection of hot and cold to choose from. Conor and Linda are a breath of fresh air. So warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The only place I will stay on my future visits.

The location is amazing. Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.

Loved everything about this hotel! The check-in staff (specially Aditya and Max) were very welcoming and looked after me through out my stay. The restaurant staff were very attentive and the food was just amazing. I had a good restful stay in the comfy room after a long hike with great views to the nature landscape.
