The Fontenay Hamburg is a 5-star hotel situated on the shore of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, within walking distance of the famous shopping area at Jungfernstieg. Room, breakfast, facilities all excellent. The bar is a "must have" were it only for the spectacular views of the Alster and the city. We treated ourselves also to a dinner in the Lakeside restaurant. Great menu, very creative and delicious dishes, and the wine pairing offered was for the most part super.

HYPERION Hotel Hamburg is located 800 metres from Speicherstadt. Guests can enjoy the BAR 11 on the eleventh floor and the on-site Gaumenfreund restaurant. A very comfortable room, very clean. Amazing service and excellent breakfast. I enjoyed my stay very much, it was definitely good value. It is walking distance from the center too.
