The room overlooked the river and had a superb veranda to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

We stayed in one of the private spa suites. It’s probably the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in - private sauna steam room and jacuzzi were amazing. Restaurant was great too.

Room was immaculate and very clean and comfortable. Having access to wellness area. They had bike box storage for our bicycles which was great. Our room was outside the walls but this wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was great.

The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices at the buffet. The service at breakfast by the waitresses was very good. The location was excellent! The castle and the grounds are beautifully kept and inside was warm and cosy with lovely antique furnishings to fit the castle’s original era. Lots of attractions nearby! Surrounded by the forests of the Lower Harz region, the Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch offers modern rooms, a large spa and a country-style restaurant. It is located close to Stolberg. We enjoyed a short romantic break. The location was perfect for this purpose. The hotel is located in a beautiful area of the Harz, surrounded by a wonderful forest. However, it was easy to find the hotel and, as we were travelling by car, we were able to easily get around and visit Stolberg, the Rose Park in Sangerhausen and other interesting places. The hotel grounds are also incredibly beautiful. Although the lower park was closed due to the construction of the new swimming pool, our room nevertheless faced the front of the hotel grounds and we enjoyed the view undisturbed. The breakfast and dinner were super lovely with an excellent selection of food. Perhaps the restaurant should consider displaying the wine bottles when they only serve a glass of wine, instead of bringing a glass already filled with wine to the table from outside. The wellness area with swimming pool is excellent. I had a facial and a massage. And it lived up to the highest expectations. I would definitely do it again if I had a longer stay.

The apartment was second to none. The attention to detail was absolutely fantastic. Everything was thought of. I cannot think of anything that c ould have been improved.

Location was great ,easy walking with kids to everything. Every family had there own space and bathroom great shared living room and kitchen in the middle of the apartment. Playground was great for kids. Bbq area was great. Nice and quite. Love to come again
