Speaking English, Spanish and French at the reception, staff are always on hand to help. We stayed at Hotel Calderona for a few days and were genuinely impressed by the hotel itself. Everything was spotless and perfectly maintained from the elegant rooms to the high-tech fitness center, the Olympic-sized swimming pool, the paddle court, and the football field where my nephew enjoyed playing matches with friends. However, the only major issue was the restaurant service. The male servers were polite and courteous, but unfortunately, the two female waitresses were consistently rude and unprofessional. Over four days and multiple meals per day, we experienced very long wait times, cold attitudes, and what seemed like a clear lack of interest in their job which can truly affect a guest’s experience. We reported this to the front desk, who explained that the restaurant is managed by a separate company. While we understand that, we also made it clear that this level of service harms the hotel’s excellent reputation. It’s a real shame, because the hotel is truly outstanding in every other way. Guests who travel from abroad expect to enjoy their stay not have it soured by poor restaurant service. We hope management takes action, because the hotel deserves to offer excellence in every aspect.

Sitting at the window, with the bare beams above us, reading our books and enjoying the amazing view is something that I will never forget. For a moment we felt like we were in Tuscany, which is maybe why we absolutely loved the place, surroundings, and the room itself. Stop thinking about booking - just do it! You won't regret it.

The views are amazing, no matter were you are on the property. The rooms were elegant and modern, the bed was very confortable, the bathroom was big and clean, and the Rituals products are an class touch. The outside pool is exceptional, with, once again, amazing views. The sun-beds were luxurious. Very peaceful. The spa offers many services, such as different pools, hammam and sauna. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. In particular, Mar, at reception, was lovely. Definitely an excellent option for a getaway. We will undoubtedly return when we can.

Everything we needed, it was excellent - didn’t get up to the Terrace as too busy seeing the wonderful sites of València which are all an easy walk from the apartment. Oscar took our bags for early arrival and then placed them in the apartment (thank you).
