The accommodation was comfortable, rustic but full of character and charm, we really felt at home. There was air conditioning, which was great as we arrived in the middle of a heatwave. The accommodation was well equipped, there was even a basket of wool to knit or crochet with. We walked to a beach at Matkolampi close by for a swim (highly recommend it) and had dinner at Millers BBQ that was a short walk away. Super stay, I think we might be back next time we visit Hämeenlinna.

This hotel is 4 km from Hämeenlinna Train Station. It offers free 1 GB WiFi, private parking and daily 3-hour spa passes. A 6-lane bowling alley is also found on site. Great breakfast. The location is divine.
