Set in Koli National Park, this hotel offers ski-to-door access from Ukko-Koli ski slope. It has a grill restaurant and spa with indoor pools, outdoor hot tubs and 3 saunas. Wi-Fi is free. I chose to stay at this hotel mainly for easy access to Ukko-Koli on the summer solstice, so I could enjoy the sunrise and sunset. The staff at the reception were very helpful and genuinely nice to me. Breakfast tasted even better with the view of Lake Pielinen. The sauna has fixed hours, so it’s a good idea to check the schedule in advance. (I didn’t have time to go, though—too bad! 😅)
