Located a 15-minute drive from central Saariselkä, this hotel features rooms with mountain views of Kiilopää or Ahopää. It offers free sauna access and a relaxation room with a library and fireplace. We had such a cute cabin, it was really comfortable, cozy, clean and had everything we needed! The sauna inside was a huge plus too, we would definitely stay again.

Even though it was advertised as a one bedroom apartment, you have a bunk bed in a 2nd room that was useful. Heating was excellent in the apartment and the Sauna as well. Drying cabinet and the sleds were quite useful. Communication with the Owner Meeri and Maintenance guy, Marko was excellent. Meeri's handbook was useful too.

Offering self-catering, cottage-like apartments in Saariselkä, with ski-to-door access to trails. Saariselkä ski lifts are 2 km away. WiFi and parking are free. Location was nice and quiet - while not in the very centre of town it was a very easy walk to restaurants, shops, skiing and trails. Also very short walking distance and easy access to the bus stop to the airport (or from Inari). Apartment had everything you would need. Beds were nice and comfy. Kristiina was a great and helpful host and self check in was very simple.

Offering ski-in ski-out access, Castillo Kelotähti Apartment is a self-catering accommodation in Saariselkä. The Ski Saariselkä ski lifts are just 1.2 km away. The apartment was small, but just big enough for our family of 4 (2 adults, 1 child, 1 baby). It was clean, comfortable, and a good temperature. We paid extra for the linen which wasn't put on the beds, so we had to make the beds which was a bit annoying when we were tired. It also made the stay more expensive when we paid extra for the baby linen and cot. Very handy drying cupboard, and great to have a washing machine, but no clothes detergent, which would have been useful. The directions to the apartment were a bit confusing, the pub on the corner isn't an Irish pub any more. The location was very good for getting the bus to the ski slopes, and taking walks to the grocery store and restaurants.

The house has loads of space and the expected comforts. The wood burner is a lovely addition and makes the whole place cosy. The sauna works like a treat too!

It had a lovely, charming atmosphere and provided plenty of space for a family of 4 with two teenagers. All the required facilities were available. It is about a 20 minute walk into town - which we quite enjoyed (even in -28 degrees). The sledges at the property are helpful to use after a trip to the supermarket for helping with the shopping.
