The luxurious Taveuni Island Resort & Spa is set on 10 acres of tropical gardens, a 2-minute drive from Matei Airport on Taveuni Island. Stayed at four different resorts across Fiji as part of our honeymoon and this was probably our favourite. Small enough to really care, it's a beautiful, private resort with very friendly, approachable staff embedded in the local community. There's loads to do, decent food (catering fairly well for vegetarians), and all for a reasonable price.

Great swimming and snorkeling directly in front of resort and surf break only 2km out in front. Manager & staff were amazing - super friendly, great service and really helpful. The food was very good and meals with Spanish Mackerel were exceptional. Private, peaceful and relaxing with plenty to do. The full day around island snorkeling tour with picnic and smoked fish on the beach was a highlight. Incredible coral and fish on the 5 snorkeling sites we were taken to.

Paradise Taveuni is located on the island of Taveuni. Please book domestic flights to the island through www.fijiairways.com. Take a taxi from the Taveuni airport to the Resort (approx 60 mins). The snorkelling out the back of the hotel was lovely. There was a large staff to customer ratio which meant there was always someone to help you. Lots of lovely plants at the hotel and the rooms were nice. Free water refills is always appreciated.
