Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above. Friendly staff. Very good quality room with view of river overlooking the Loire. Good location. Close to one of the best restaurants in Saumur, Le Pot de Lapin. Lovely open space garden at back. Very welcoming to dogs, would not have used this hotel if not.

Amazing Instagram photos everyone ask me about. One of the best rooms I've had the pleasure to experience. This room is 100% a YES!

Had all the amenities that you needed. Off road parking. Excellent location for Nantes airport. The host was welcoming, friendly and very accommodating.

Everything is maintained to the highest level — from the fresh, mint-scented steam room to the eucalyptus shower that feels like a true spa experience. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and welcoming, making you feel both pampered and at home. I won’t reveal all the surprises — you simply have to come and experience it for yourself. A heartfelt thank you to the delightful owner for creating such a magical place. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Mila, an absolute gem! Every detail was tasteful and carefully thought out, with a unique sense of style in each room that made the entire place feel both elegant and deeply relaxing. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a subtle sense of intimacy and care, which made perfect sense given the lovely family hosting us. The spa area, with its sauna and jacuzzi, was incredibly calming, and the pool was simply perfect: clean, beautiful, with stunning aesthetics, and ideal for relaxing (and, why not, for photos too!). We stayed just one night as a birthday gift for my partner, and it couldn’t have been more special. We truly left feeling rejuvenated and grateful. You absolutely have to try the breakfast—simply de-li-ci-ous! We’re already looking for an excuse to return. It’s the perfect peaceful escape without being too far from the city. Highly recommended!

I was met by the host (Nathalie) and had been in contact with her. The place is cute and very comfortable. In-street parking which I was questioning, but in the end it was safe and I could see my car from the flat. The flat has everything that is needed. The kitchen is equipped with all you need. Same goes for the bathroom. There was lots of hot water and heating which was highly appreciated. The towels were freshly launders and smellt clean, which I sadly cannot say of the bedding - perhaps I am too particular. Because of that I always travel with my own pillow. The sofa also had a funky smell hence I sat on the small chair or spent most of my time outdoors - there is lots to see and long walks to be had. There is a small supermarket close by - was closed but the town is a nice walk away - especially with dogs. The 'ocean snake' is just along the road which was an added bonus. Getting there with satnav was easy. If you travel with dogs, as I do - this flat may not be ideal as it has a tight spiral stairs leading up to it. My small dog had no issues, but the bigger older one needed to be carried. For my next stay (and I hope to stay there again) I amy opt for the ground-floor space.
