Fab room, especially with two young daughters - gave us our privacy, whilst still having them close. Gorgeous spa bath which was very much appreciated! Great meal at the Michelin restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Awesome breakfast the next day - something for everyone. Great castle to explore up the hill. Friendly, helpful staff.

Excellent, quiet, air-conditioned room with a nice view on the river Loire. Very helpful and friendly owners, who made us feel at home right away. The hotel has a boutique vibe that spoke to us. We absolutely loved the Spa (especially the Jacuzzi and tea area.). Breakfast was brilliant with home made banana cake and freshly baked pancakes. We loved it here and would definitely recommend.

We really liked the overall esthetic, cleanliness and the quietness/calmness they try to keep as a standard in the house. Even though we checked in a bit late in the evening, Jonathan and Isabelle were very understanding and took the time to offer us something to drink and welcomed us in the garden. Breakfast was carefully prepared, all with good products (and some from the garden), I can tell. In addition, we had an amazing view of the fullmoon in our room that one night we stayed in this special place. If we are ever in the area, we’ll come back.

Fantastic stay! Helene is a wonderful host. She as very welcoming and caring. Nice breakfast with the other guests and the hot pot is an absolute highlight! Plus: Her Dog Sanka is such a cutie and incredibly well behaved! Highly recommend!!!

a special property located 10 minutes by car from the center of Saumur. after a day of visiting the surroundings, it is a pleasure to sit by the pool, to relax in complete peace. it was a great pleasure to meet our hosts, Francis and Catherine, very pleasant, attentive and at the same time discreet people. breakfast very carefully prepared, every day with local news. on the last evening, at our request, they prepared a special plate with a local wine. thank you very much for the hospitality and we hope to come back one day.
