We stayed on the 2nd floor and the view was amazing. There was a little balcony too that we loved. The location is brilliant as you're right on the main esplanade with a Spar just around the corner for any thing you may need (including vegetables and food for cooking). It was great to cook some meals here as eating out all the time doesn't suit us. The apartment is very clean and modern. I loved that the kids bunks have the double on the bottom and a single at the top. It was handy having an ensuite for us and the main bathroom for the kids. The private parking is amazing especially for busy periods. It was definitely a highlight to be able to walk around after dinner and yet be so close to the accommodation. I will definitely book here again as it was such a great fit for us.

The 5-star Galgorm features a luxury spa and an award-winning restaurant. It is set within 163 acres of lush parkland with the River Maine flowing through. You couldn’t fault this place as everything was just perfect. Staff were friendly and facilities were fantastic.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Salthouse Hotel and couldn’t fault it overall. We visited as a group of friends and stayed in one of the lodges, which was extremely well equipped and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Having our own hot tub was a real treat and added to the luxury of the experience. We dined in the restaurant during our stay and the food was fantastic from start to finish. We also spent time in the bar enjoying cocktails, which were genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, with a gorgeous, stylish interior that really adds to the atmosphere. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. The views overlooking Ballycastle beach and beyond are absolutely stunning and really make the location special. A lovely festive touch was receiving mince pies and mulled wine on arrival, which made our Christmas night away feel extra special and thoughtful. The only possible negative we could find was that the outdoor hot tub at the lodge isn’t sheltered. As we stayed in December, it was quite windy and cold, so some form of cover would be a great addition. That said, this didn’t take away from what was an amazing stay overall. The apartment we had was stunning. We were on the top floor with views of the ocean, a great football pitch, and part of a golf course. Everything was very modern, clean, and efficient. Our host, Deidra, was fantastic! She addressed every question promptly and kept the unit supplied with all that we needed.

Crowne Plaza - Belfast is a 4-star hotel is situated in the surroundings of Lagan Valley Regional Park, just 15 minutes by car from Belfast's thriving city centre. It was such a beautiful hotel with attentive and friendly people working there! The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The restaurants were both great, and the breakfast amazing- lots of choice. We also spent an afternoon at the spa where we had very good treatments. We would recommend for a couples weekend away!
