Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV. We had a fabulous 5 night stay at Melfort village. The accommodation was very well equipped and they even offer extra equipment such as slow cookers. It's quiet and in a beautiful location. They called us the week before to make sure we brought everything we needed with us as the nearest supermarket is 30 minutes away in Oban. We also booked massages for our last day - highly recommended! I would recommend Melfort Village for a quiet, secluded, self catering break.

Oban is gorgeous and staying here made the trip even nicer.

It is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. It had everything that you would need and more. The host Mark was very helpful and kept in contact with us from booking it to arriving at the lodge. It was spotless and there was all different patios and decking to sit at. The hot tub and sauna area was first class lots of towels and bath robes to use. There is loads of outside space with the big front and rear garden and it all lit up at nighttime which was a lovely touch. The kitchen had everything you need and lots more, the host has thought of everything and a bottle of bubbly and some shortbread and chocolates were an added extra. We had breakfast in the morning sitting out the front and dinner sitting out the decking area, there is nothing I can say bad about this place at all. The neighbours were lovely, we met a few of them on our trips out with the dog, the area is gorgeous plenty of walks and stunning views we made some amazing memories in our week's stay there and will definitely be back.

Loch Fyne Hotel & Spa enjoys wonderful views across Loch Fyne to the Cowal Hills. Offering en suite rooms, the hotel boasts a swimming pool and spa. This was our second stay at the hotel and everything was simply excellent, cannot fault a single thing :-)

Built in the late 1800s, The Perle Oban Hotel & Spa is an iconic, historic building on Oban's seafront. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Oban Railway Station and the Cal Mac ferry terminal. Our room was quiet and overlooked the street, we had plenty of room, they also had a pod coffee machine in our room which was great. Breakfast you do need to book, the menu has a good variety of choices, and the brasserie is large and allows for all numbers of groups to be seated. We took advantage of the spa facilities the person who provided the massage and beauty services was lovely and created a relaxing environment. She was good at her job. Bar facilities were also great and again allowed for intimacy and group seatings. The staff were all great as well.

Set on the edge of Oban's Esplanade, with sea views of Mull, Kerrera and the Firth of Lorne, the hotel has a sun lounge and free WiFi. Perfect location, amazing view. The staff were exceptional especially Alona and Frank!!

Situated on the crescent of Craignure Bay, The Isle of Mull Hotel and Spa has stunning views over to Morvern and the west coast. Lovely staff. Beautifull facility. Big room, spacious. Hot tub outside. Easy access to a beautiful beach. Right near the Ferry from Oban. Spacious common areas. Very clean. Good food.
