Douneside House is located in Tarland, 50km from Aberdeen. Douneside House features views of the countryside and complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The property was beautiful including the grounds which were an incredible view. Food and bar was outstanding as was the service. It’s definitely out of the way to get to but well worth it.

And the location couldn’t have been better. Met Patrick when leaving & he was so lovely & had a little conversion with myself & my partner will definitely be back to stay again! 👌🏼

The location was local for us, but worth a stay, the hotel was beuatiful and alll the staff went out of their way to be nore than helpful. the room was amazing, the Spa was excelent, the setting of the hotel is so peaceful.

This Victorian mansion with pool, spa and gym is set in quiet countryside 5 miles from Aberdeen. It has 2 bars, 1 restaurants and is 3 miles from the Castle Trail. Ardoe House is a stunning baronial mansion in a beautiful, quiet setting, yet it's still very close to Aberdeen. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were all wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay, enjoying the spa (swimming pool, sauna and hot tub) and would highly recommend it for a special getaway.
