Set within a modernised coaching inn, the family-run Burton Hotel is a residence situated on the Offa’s Dyke footpath in the small market town of Kington, which lies on the Welsh border. Plenty of staff, all very busy and very friendly, adding hugely to a comfortable stay. The small room I had was very comfortable, the breakfast of high quality and made to order. There is a nook in the car park for motorcycles and the swimming pool was a great plus. What more can you ask for?
