Rooms all feature a large widescreen TV with satellite channels, a DVD player, and a king-size bed and luxury bathroom. Some luxury suites have outdoor hot tubs and seating areas. Very clean hotel and beautiful rooms. The love snug was a great room and was great to use the sauna facility. Catherine was excellent and very friendly , making us feel welcome. The bubbly on arrival was lovely too!

Breakfast is complimentary and offered in traditional full English breakfast with fish options. Vegetarian and Vegan alternatives are also offered. The lodge is very comfortable, clean and well organised. The staff were all really friendly, and everything we needed was provided for us. The rooms were also spotlessly clean. The location is also perfect for walking around Windermere and its surroundings. The communication was also really helpful. We walked up Orrest Head thanks to the recommendation from the hosts - a lovely view at the top!

The rom was perfect and the breakfast had plenty of choice to very good standard The tasting menu on Valentine’s Day was served and explained excellent and tasted perfect

Beaumont House is a charming, family-run Victorian guesthouse, exclusively for adults, nestled in a peaceful location just moments from the vibrant center of Windermere. Perfectly positioned, it is only a short stroll from Windermere Railway Station and offers complimentary Wi-Fi and private on-site parking. The continental breakfast had a great selection and was extremely well presented in a beautiful dining room.

The breakfast was excellent lots of gluten free options. Rich the host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Lake District . He always had time for you to chat about the best restaurants etc .Very enjoyable stay definitely stay again. Rooms very comfortable clean . The place is situated in a perfect spot right in the middle of Windermere.

The Armathwaite spa features a hydrotherapy pool, a sauna and a steam room. There is a large outdoor hot tub and a holistic beauty salon with treatment rooms. Stunningly set accommodation, beautiful gardens and surroundings which adds so much charm- especially with all the bunnies and wildlife around. The hotel itself had a lot of character, the room had plenty space, a bath and a roof terrace. There wasn’t one member of staff that wasn’t warm and friendly with us which again, really helps to feel at home. The spa being included was really the cherry on top. Indoor and outdoor pool as well as sauna, jacuzzi and steam. It was hard to pack up and leave the next day!

Guests have the use of Choices Gym, Spa and *Pool. This facility is situated 2 miles away and can be reached by bus.

The extensive breakfast menu includes a choice of fruit, homemade jam and marmalade, a traditional cooked breakfast or continental and vegetarian options. Locally sourced produce is used. The location was perfect! Lots of space to park outside of the property. Very clean. Owners very very helpful, gave lots of helpful tips both before and during the trip.
