Our hotel is perfectly situated with views of Lake Windermere, just a short stroll from the bustling village centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and the boats that travel the length of Windermere, making... The breakfast and choice was absolutely amazing. The best we have had at a hotel. It was all fresh and constantly topped up. We had not planned to eat evening meals in the hotel, but the food was so good we ate there every night. The room too was fantastic, with plenty of space. Marc the concierge was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended some great walks suitable for us and the buses to get to them. The receptionists were also very welcoming showing us around the hotel and our room on arrival. The location of the hotel is good too, just a few minutes walk from the center and therefore not too noisy. A few days after we left I realised that I had left an expensive item of clothing behind. The hotel kindly arranged to post this home for me. We usually holiday in the Med but with the high temperatures we now get there during summer, decided to try the UK this year. We had such an enjoyable time will definitely be back next summer.

The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure I had everything for a smooth experience. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again in the future!

This is a very lovely family, when we arrived from the train station, the road is not far, but it is very tiring to carry the luggage, the host helped us to carry the luggage to the top floor, the room for 3 people, the room is very clean, the host must be a very diligent person, the breakfast is super, the hostess is lovely and very polite, The cleanliness of their home is the best I have seen in more than ten years of travel.
