Located on Princes Street, The Balmoral has a 4 AA Rosette restaurant, a pool and a gym. Waverley Station and Edinburgh's main shopping area are within 5 minutes' walk. We spent four nights here over Christmas, as a family that travels a lot, this was a stay that really stood out. The staff went the extra mile and the attention to detail was unparalleled. From a little robe and slippers for our daughter. Milk and cookies every evening. One detail that I’ve never had before, was our charing cables next to the bed were neatly tied every night. The staff were all tremendous, if there was an option for a 6th star ⭐️ that would’ve been well deserved.

Craigey Beach cottage is your perfect "home away from home". The location is super convenient, the house is cozy and comfortable, the hosts are amazing and very responsive... and you get a fox to visit once in a while in the garden which we thought was a unique plus :-) Not to mention free parking in front of the house, which is convenient. We appreciated all the treats that were there for us upon arrival after a very long trip from Asia. We are used to tropical weather so the first night felt a bit chilly in the house but Charlie was here the next day to show us how to adjust the temperature. We also got great shopping and restaurants tips from Charlie and Michelle. The Beach House Cafe in Portobello was a highlight and a must-visit, as well as the restaurant strip in Leith called Shore -with the Ship on the Shore or Fishers, both really cool places to eat fish/seafood. This cottage is relatively close to Edinburgh university which makes it convenient for overseas families coming to set up their student children. Charlie and Michelle really care about you being comfortable during your stay at their property and will go above and beyond to accommodate and help you. That is a rare thing and made our trip so memorable. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!! We would definitely go back there any time we come back to Edinburgh.

Offering an indoor pool and a spa and wellness centre, Village Hotel Edinburgh is located a short distance from Edinburgh city centre. The connection of this hotel with the community and their interest in supporting locals. Room and bed very comfortable and clean. Nice restaurant and staff. We loved the pool and got to do an aerobic class.

Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel is situated in Edinburgh, just metres from Princes Street and George Street. Beautiful clean property in a very convenient location

Just metres from Holyrood Park, Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood features an award-winning restaurant and spa. With Edinburgh Castle just a mile away, guests have free WiFi access and large rooms. The rooms are spacious and confortable. The staff is super friendly and always keen to assist. The location is great and breakfast is quite good. I also found the wifi connection to be particularily fast and stable. Gym is very well equipped (it not only has treadmills as is usual with most hotels).
