Overall Heywood is a lovely spa hotel. We had a lovely stay, a great sleep in a nice king bed, and the breakfast was lovely. A nice selection of options on the menu is available, with some juices and a fresh coffee available. The room was spacious (albeit we were given a free upgrade - always boxes well) with a lovely layout that felt new and well designed. The team aided us in sourcing flowers as part of a baby moon, a lovely touch. The hotel is within a brief walk to the Tenby center - and we made it even with a pregnant wife. We found the hotel is also well priced albeit we have visited outside of peak season. The hotel felt intimate but has comfortable spaces, the spa was of a more than suitable standard for a 4-star.

The location of this hotel is outstanding with beautiful grounds and so much history. We paid for a luxury room and were not disappointed the room size was great and the bathroom had an amazing spa jet bath. We were welcomed by the wonderful staff who went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. If you're looking for tranquillity and a break from the hectic day to day grind, this is the place.
Relaxing break. Lovely views from the cedar lodges. Parking not far (with slight hill to walk to lodge). Well spaced for privacy. Light large dining area. Comfortable lounge. Well-equipped kitchen. Clothes airer provided. Good shower (over bath). Helpful staff. Some tea and coffee, sachets of milk and washing up liquid and sponge provided, which was helpful.
We loved everything about our stay here. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a relaxing view of the field. Everything is designed to make guests feel special: luxuriously thick bath towels and high end shower products; delicious breakfasts and a welcoming sitting room. Nothing was too much trouble for Karen who is an exceptional host.
This was an excellent stay and exceeded our expectations- modern and clean premises- a lovely homely feel with added luxury. The staff were very friendly and attention to detail was exceptional. Breakfast was lovely with a great selection and lovely relaxing views. The rooms were brilliant and very relaxing with plenty of space. Would definitely recommend Canaston Oaks very highly.
Lovely view from our room, looking out to the sea and coastline. Had a great time relaxing in the outdoor pool although we didn't use any of the other Spa facilities except the sauna and relaxation room. Meals were gorgeous. Great food for dinner and the breakfast was very extensive with plenty of choices. All the staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful. Our luggage was taken up to our room by a member of the Reception team whilst we chilled in the bar area. All the public areas were very clean and well maintained.
The food was excellent, we had lunch and dinner. Dinner was very good, and the presentation of the food was excellent. The service was good. The room was spacious for 3 of us, with a double and a separate twin room. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was nice. The Hotel is in a lovely setting and is impressive. It was nice to be able to use the Spa facilities before check in time, as this allowed us a relaxing lunch and spa day. The Spa is well utilised by members, who use it as their local pool so bear that in mind.
