We got a free upgrade, which was super sweet. The staff is amazing and willing to help. The beach is small, but we had no problems with sun beds and umbrellas. Really, enjoyable experience.

We think this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in Kalamata.. The location is superb, even though it`s in the centre, it was very quiet at night. The room was amazing and there was so much care taken to every detail, to make our room homely and comfortable. A large and comfy bed. The ensuite was excellent, and the shower was out of this world..! Also an amazing help yourself breakfast.. But for us what really put the icing on the cake, was all the staff. Katerina, the general manager, has trained her staff superbly well. They were all friendly, kind and nothing was to much trouble.. Even the cleaners were great..!! We whole heartedly recommend this hotel, you`ll not be disappointed at all...... We will be returning next September...........

Nestling at the foot of the Taygetos Mountains on the outskirts of Kalamata, Grecotel Filoxenia is surrounded by acres of luscious landscape and a beach by the azure Messinian Gulf. Beautiful hotel! Very kid-friendly as well. The rooms - recently renovated - were impeccable. The food was excellent (the breakfast that was included, and the food we paid for), and the facilities were great. We really appreciated the shallow pool for kids.
