We enjoyed our stay and the room was very clean and comfortable. After breakfast we went to Plitvice park which was a short drive to entrance #2. The host was very kind and prepared some sandwiches to go when we checked out for our onward journey. Because we stayed in September, possibly the sauna was not operational, or locked for the season not sure if we misunderstood usage.

Everything here was absolutely fantastic. The room was beautifully decorated, and both dinner and breakfast were generous and delicious. The host was always attentive to our needs and even prepared the jacuzzi and sauna for us. The garden is spacious with beautiful scenery. We highly recommend trying the cheesecake at the restaurant — it was incredibly tasty! We also like the Tesla-themed decorations. He was truly an outstanding inventor.

Only 6 km from the Plitvice Lakes National Park, the family-run Vila Cancar is situated in the peaceful village of Grabovac. It offers air-conditioned rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi. Such a warm reception from the owner who is so helpful and informative. The whole hotel is immaculate and the room is just perfect. The pool facilities were greatly appreciated after a long motorcycle ride from the UK in the heat. The location is approximately a 10-15min drive from the national park main entrances. Lots of places to eat in walking distance as well, that are not expensive. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, which was the best yet on our road trip. We are going to recommend this place to our families who now want to visit the parks.

I had a dinner, which was very good. The wine was a bit expensive though. Didn’t try the breakfast. * The area is very beautiful, quiet, green. I had a great sleep there! * Host was very nice, sweet and helpful! I’d definitely stay here again :)

The apartment was really clean , tastefully furnished and well equipped. The jacuzzi was a blessing after a long day of hiking. For the sauna it takes approx. 1,5 hr to heat up but you can have a really good sweat. Sank in a cold bath at the end in the huge tub ... It was just perfect. . . 💗 Thank you!
