We also had a wine tasting upon arrival and could talk to him about all our thoughts and questions yet answered about Croatia. Seeing all the family photos and history on the property really made us feel like we were staying a friend. This place is also a destination in itself. There are bikes, hiking trails, so much wine to taste, a castle to visit, an overview to take pictures at, and an amazing fine dining restaurant our host got us a reservation for at the last minute. He even walked us over to the start of the trail so we wouldn't get lost. Loved our time at this place.
