It’s a bit far way from city center, but with scooter, it takes only 15 mins drive, and it actually at the middle of Ubud center and Tegallang Rice field and Cretya Pool Club. Breakfast is amazing!! We had the Baliese breakfast which contains 3 dishes, yummy Indonesian fried rice! Service is great, the staff is friendly and nice. A great stay!

We returned to Kastara for the second time after 1 year. Cozy spacious rooms with new furniture and incredible views. Very good wi-fi (we work with my boyfriend and we haven't had any problems). There is a GYM with everything you need. Spa!!! Specialist with magic hands! After the flight, I was recovered in literally 1 hour. Very tasty restaurant and bar. The staff is incredible! Very good location. Close to the artist's walk and not far to Ubud.

The location is in central Ubud but is very quiet. When checking in you'll receive a welcome coconut and also a tote bag for free. The staff was the kindest, upbeat and helpful. They taught me so much about Balinese traditions and culture. Lovely on-site restaurant with delicious food and cocktails. Wide comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and the pool was also inviting. It was wholesome to connect with other female travellers and share stories. The staff even surprised me with a fruit platter and some singing on my birthday. The best!

They anticipated our every need, arranged free or discounted cultural activities, and added personal and thoughtful touches everywhere.
