This was the at the end of the property. Away from the pool. Lovely to sit on the veranda and read. There is an homely atmosphere everywhere. Staff are very helpful. Food was excellent for me. I like Indonesian / Javanese food so was quite happy to have what was on the menu. They even went out of the way to prepare a local dish specially for me called "nasi liwet".

The view was astonishing, located in the hills and in the middle of the jungle, a paradise. I felt so good and relaxed every minute. Everything was clean, well maintained and beautiful. Guru and the whole team were above all expectations, always helpful , smiling and went far beyond their duty to make my stay a dream; I can't thank them enough. You have a beautiful place next to the villa to watch the sunset and sunrise, and if lucky will see the volcanos in front of you. The Borobudur temple is at 10min ride, the hotel kindly takes you there (don't forget to book online to climb it). I could actually perceive the temple from my villa. There are also many other things to do in the area.. I warmly recommend this hidden gem you never want to leave... Just one thing, as in every other place where you stay, you hear the praying many times during the day and once at night, don't forget your earbuds, or your own music 😊. This didn't bother me.

Resort is 10mn from Borobudur temple that we can see from the Patio restaurant of the resort. An excellent restaurant worth a Michelin Star. Price above local restaurant but worth having at least a meal there. Excellent breakfast and afternoon tea. Room attended by quality staff. Always clean. Fruits, water and sweets left for us. Worth considering a stay if visiting the area.

The Villa was a lovely place to escape the bustle. We had a private pool which was lovely. The restaurant was delicious.
