The location was very strategic for us, near the train station. We got a room upgrade and we loved it: extra spacious with king size bed. Staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast was delicious, traditional Indonesian. We will for sure consider this hotel again in a future trip, thank you!

Boasting a fitness centre, Yogyakarta Marriott Hotel is set in Yogyakarta and is 3.5 km from Tugu Monument. 5 km from Malioboro Street, the property is also 5 km away from Malioboro Mall. The people were extremely nice, especially at the restaurant! Food was great, location next to the mall was amazing. Rooms were big and comfortable.

The hotel itself is perfect, the room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. There was tea and coffee in the room with a kettle. Also complimentary water. The staff was very friendly and kind. The location was good I guess, I mean Yogyakarta was not what I expected but it is not a reflection on the hotel at all. You need a grab/gojek or a taxi to go to Malioboro area, or anywhere around the same distance. However there are some restaurant options within 10 min walking distance of the hotel. Also, the hotel breakfast and restaurant is also amazing with a variety of choices. Highly recommended.

The staff go far beyond their duties and helped us plan our trip with cars and tours. Natalie was the best! Everything is spotless, new, and this is worth a stay. And the price is very reasonable.
