Surrounded by private parkland on the shores of the Atlantic, Renvyle House features a golf course, swimming pool and award-winning restaurant. My Mam and I came for a night for my Birthday and we had a wonderful time. The outdoor pool and hot tub was amazing. Dinner was exceptional. We spent a cosy night int he bar with an open fire and slept so very well. Then started our next day with a delicious breakfast. I could not fault the place in the slightest.

The Lady Gregory Hotel is close to Coole Park Gardens and offers full Irish breakfasts, a restaurant, and a bar. This is an exceptional hotel. If you like warm rooms, this is the place. We often stay in hotels in ireland and uk and find the rooms too cold. Not at Lady Gregory.. Great welcoming staff here as well.

In Athenry, east of Galway, the friendly Raheen Woods Hotel serves good food and has leisure facilities for kids and adults, including a swimming pool, gym and hot tub. Nice and roomy stay. I loved the bin for decomposable foods and items. Lighting is good. Comfortable bed. Bathroom decent size. Very nice staff and I recommend the restaurant which had delicious food and a large menu. The location is lovely near the woods as the name says.
