With a history dating back to 1180, Kilkea Castle provides accommodation set on 180 acres of woodland, gardens and a golf course. The property was incredibly beautiful and it felt incredible driving up onto the grounds and entering the castle. The staffing at the front desk was super helpful and got us breakfast early since we had a flight to catch the next morning. Really nice bathrooms and rooms inside of where we were staying and it felt very secluded which was great as well. My wife and I would like to fly back and visit again in April.

Cliff at Lyons is located in Celbridge. Featuring one restaurants, cafe and spa, the property also has bikes available for guests to rent. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk. The most stunning place I’ve been to! It felt like we were in a little fairytale village! The grounds are gorgeous! The breakfast was delicious with so much choice and in a beautiful room! The spa was pure bliss, so relaxing and cosy. My therapist Claire was exceptional, she went above and beyond! Thank you again. The lady at reception (so sorry I can’t remember her name, she had blonde hair) was so friendly and made our experience even better, she also upgraded us for my sisters birthday which was such a lovely gesture and made our stay even more special! The on-site cafe was amazing, so handy to have whenever we fancied a hot drink and bite to eat. You never needed to leave the grounds as it had everything you could need. It’s was honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and I can’t wait to come back!!!
