The hotel was beyond perfect, a dreamlike place where one can really disconnect and spend quality time, the staff was super attentive and friendly, the restaurant had a great gastronomic proposal and WOW view, and the room was confortable, spacious, clean and charming (kind of trapped in time)! Set amidst 170 acres of parkland, Lyrath Estate Kilkenny is located on the outskirts of Kilkenny City. Breakfeast and dinner were exceptional and the staff was very friendly. The room was really large and the view beautiful. So was the whole estate. The electric car charging station was the icing on the cake.

From the moment we drove up we knew we were in for a special night for our last night in Ireland. The staff were so welcoming, the castle is stunning, our room was gorgeous, the bed was so comfortable. Our dinner was amazing and our breakfast was fabulous. We would definitely recommend staying at Kilkea Castle if you are visiting Ireland
