With a history dating back to 1180, Kilkea Castle provides accommodation set on 180 acres of woodland, gardens and a golf course. The warm atmosphere when we entered the castle and attention of the reception we got made a big impression which we loved. The staff were so friendly and obliging and really made us feel at home there. I had been away for several months and at dinner received welcome home from the staff which both my wife and I felt very touched by. The room was ideal and the quality of the beds gave us such a great nights sleep that it was the first thing we commented on when we woke up in the morning. The food there was of the highest quality and I cannot rate this hotel high enough on all aspects. It really was a magical getaway for us as a couple

Built in 1832, the award-winning K Club is set on 550 acres of mature parkland with the River Liffey flowing through the estate. It’s my favourite hotel. Simply perfect.
